Life happens. Sometimes obstacles prevent us or people we know from finishing our educational goals. If you or someone you know has started college but had to hit the pause button, you are invited to a College Comebacker Fair at the Mid-America Science Park. The event will be held Tuesday, Feb. 23 at Mid-America Science Park, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. in the Display Hall.

Representatives will be on hand from Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana University Southeast, Scott County Community Foundation, Scott County Partnership and WorkOne to share resources on how you can get back on track to finish your degree or certification. Meet with other adults and be inspired to go back to school. Refreshments will be served.

The College Comebacker Fair is a result of the Education Matters Southern Indiana initiative. Through this collaboration, the Scott County Community Foundation has partnered with the community foundations in Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Washington counties to increase the number of adults who have a degree or certification.

Another College Comebacker Fair will be held Thursday, Feb. 25 from 4-7 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College?s Ogle Hall, Horseshoe Community Room, in Sellersburg, for those who cannot attend the Scott County fair.
