Austin High School Receives Grant

Scott County Community Foundation Executive Director L.L. Lowry, second from right, presents a check for $148 to Austin High School for their academic team. Accepting the grant are Academic Assistant Coordinator Euleda Turner, Coordinator Mary Jo West and principal Sherman Smith. The grant was awarded from the Austin High School Academic Team Fund, which was established at the Foundation 13 years ago. Funds will assist with expenses for the Area Academic Competition on April 22, which Austin High School is hosting.
