Youth Collect Goods For Clearinghouse

Students with the Scott County Youth Grantmaking Council, a program of the Scott County Community Foundation, recently collected 33 items and $71 for the Scott County Community Clearinghouse. The collection was part of the Souper Bowl of Caring, a nationwide effort for churches, schools and the community to collect money and food near Super Bowl weekend, in order to fight hunger and poverty in local communities. Scottsburg Middle School students raised $66 toward the collection of goods.
