YMCA Receives Funds To Help Campaign

Scott County Community Foundation Executive Director L.L. Lowry presents a check for $500 to Kim Grace, wellness director, and Matt Mihalik, executive director of the Scott County Family YMCA. The funds were granted from the Wolf Family Charitable Fund to provide support to the YMCA’s “Share the Mission” campaign. This year’s goal is $60,000, which is twice the amount of last year’s goal. The funds will provide scholarship assistance. Last year, $42,000 was awarded in scholarships for memberships, and one in 12 kids in youth programming received a scholarship.
