Hank Jentzen: Board Member -- Scott County Community Foundation

Family: Ann and I have been married for 33 years come November 18, 2011. Our daughter Kelly is in her last year of Law School at Notre Dame. Kevin started his second year at Scottsburg High School and is a cadet for the Scottsburg Volunteer Fire Department. He is also a member of the Youth Grantmaking Council for the Scott County Community Foundation and a member of the FFA.

Education/Employment: Bachelor of General Studies with a minor in Supervision. Retired from Verizon, and now employed by Save-a-Lot Food Store in Scottsburg.

Activities/memberships/hobbies: Enjoy volunteer work for various organizations in the community and enjoy family life. Saturdays in the fall are reserved for watching Notre Dame football.

Why did you join the board? It is one way to give back to the community, to help others in the community and to make a better place to live for all citizens. Making a difference is what life is all about. Being a board member makes it possible.

What do you like about the Scott County Community Foundation? The Foundation makes a difference in the lives of others and other organizations that help others in our community. It also ensures future generations will benefit from the decisions we make today and programs will continue.
