The Scott County Community Foundation is welcoming Ryan Payne to the Board of Directors. He will begin his term Oct. 1. The Community Foundation is a charitable organization that enables donors to support the community through scholarships and grants from endowment funds.

Ryan and his wife, Stacy, have been married 14 years. They have two daughters, Lia and Chloe. Ryan is a 2000 graduate of Austin High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana University Southeast with a bachelor?s degree in business management. He is the District Sales Coordinator for AFLAC. He also works as an auctioneer for Austin Public Auto Auction.

Ryan serves as a board member for Scott County School District 1. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as bicycling and Louisville Cardinals sports.

Ryan served as a member of the Community Foundation?s Grants Committee prior to joining the board.

?What I like about the Community Foundation is they help with all aspects of the community, and I enjoy giving back to the place that has given me so much,? said Ryan.

?We are honored to have Ryan join our Board,? said Executive Director Jaime Toppe. ?Ryan has served as a long-time volunteer at our fundraising events. Stacy has been a member of our Early Childhood Committee for many years, and Lia is a member of our Youth Grantmaking Council. Ryan and his family have been an important part of the Community Foundation, and we?re happy he?s taking that commitment one step further by serving on the Board of Directors.?
