Scott County Family YMCA CEO Ryan Penrod accepts a check for $3,654 from Scott County Community Foundation board members Lisa Conder and Mike Everett. The grant was awarded from the YMCA?s endowment fund at the Community Foundation. It will be used for a summer learning loss program to help students improve their reading and mathematics ability and reduce the loss that happens to students over the summer when they are not in school, as well as to purchase a new telephone system.
