United Way of Scott County Executive Director Nancy Riley receives a grant for $1,000 from Scottsburg Kiwanis Club Secretary Al Riggle. The grant was awarded from the Scottsburg Kiwanis Club Fund at the Scott County Community Foundation and will be used for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library initiative. This program provides free books for children from birth through age five, mailed directly to their homes every month. There are currently 933 children in Scott County who are registered, and 443 who ?graduated? from the program when they turned five.
