Lexington Good Faith Preschool teacher Jennifer Johanningsmeier receives a check for $1,000 from Scottsburg Kiwanis Club President David Wilson. The grant was awarded from the Scottsburg Kiwanis Club?s endowment fund at the Scott County Community Foundation. It will be used to support the free preschool, which is available to all children in Lexington Township. The school currently has 16 children enrolled, and will expand to 3-year-old children next school year. It has been successful due to the support of the entire community.? All donations to the Kiwanis Club?s endowment fund are currently being matched 50 cents for every dollar through a matching grant opportunity from Lilly Endowment.
