?We are pleased to announce Logan Weilbaker as the recipient of the 2021 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship,? said Scholarship Committee Chairperson Tinisha Bowles-Densford. ?As always, the Community Foundation?s Scholarship Committee members were very impressed with the applicants and the finalists should all be very proud of themselves and their academic achievements. We know that Logan will be successful in his future endeavors and be a great representative of Scott County in all that he does. Congratulations, Logan!?

Students were judged based on community involvement, extra-curricular activities, work activities, academics, financial considerations, honors and awards, letters of recommendation and two essays. Eight students advanced to the interview portion as finalists. After the scholarship committee narrowed the field, the finalists? names were submitted to Independent Colleges of Indiana Inc. (ICI) for the selection of the Scott County recipient. ICI is a nonprofit corporation that represents 30 regionally accredited degree granting, nonprofit, private colleges and universities in the state.
