Scottsburg Lions Club Treasurer Aaron Bressler presents grants to Young Marines volunteer Robert O?Donnell and CASA Executive Director Kelly Shelhamer. The Scottsburg Lions Club/D.Q. Reid Memorial Fund provided grants for $250 to Young Marines and $500 to CASA of Scott County to support their mission. The Lions Club?s endowment fund is held at the Scott County Community Foundation, and as a donor-advised fund, Lions Club members make recommendations on which charities to support each year. Through a matching grant from Lilly Endowment, donations to the Scottsburg Lions Club/D.Q. Reid Memorial Fund will be matched 50 cents for every dollar donated.
