"I am an upperclassmen, junior, and halfway done with college. These are things I never thought I would say in my future. Time feels like it speeds up as you get older, but it always stays the same. I am very thankful that I can say I am in college and still loving nursing. It is a challenging field, but I learned this year to never give up on your dreams. With clinical and other classes, I have picked up a minor-gerontology. I enjoy working and connecting with the elderly. This semester I have also joined a club called College Mentors for Kids which teaches underprivileged children about college. Although this semester has been busy, I have also been elected as Vice President 3-Recruitment for my sorority. This semester I can truly say I am living out my dreams of continuing to be a leader, role model, and nurse."
