The Scott County Community Foundation has numerous scholarships to aid in the continuing of education. Not all scholarships listed below are currently available, as some funds are still growing to be able to distribute awards. Please check back often for an updated list of available scholarships each year. Our scholarship applications are typically available in January each year, except for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship, which is available in August.

This scholarship is available for Scottsburg High School graduating seniors. You must have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher. This scholarship is worth $4,500.
This scholarship will be available for graduating Scott County seniors (Austin High School, Scottsburg High School, Grace Christian Academy, or home-schooled students). You must have a G.P.A. between 2.5 and 3.5, and you may attend a 2-year or 4-year college. This scholarship is worth $800.
This scholarship will be available for graduating Austin High School seniors. Please contact your guidance counselor for the application.
This scholarship will be for any graduating senior of Scott County (Austin High School, Scottsburg High School or home-school) who wants to major in education, English, mathematics, engineering, or a science-related profession. This scholarship is worth $750.
This scholarship provides money to a graduating senior from Scottsburg who plans to pursue a career in education. This scholarship is worth $500.
Established from the Martha McNeely estate in honor of her husband, Dale McNeely. This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Scottsburg High School . There are three awards, one worth $11,000, one worth $9,750, and one worth $8,750.
This scholarship is available for eligible graduating seniors at Scottsburg High School who are enrolled in an undergraduate or post secondary program as a full time student. This scholarship is worth $5,000.
Established through a challenge to our Lilly Scholars several years ago, this fund will award a scholarship to a graduating senior at both Austin and Scottsburg High schools. This scholarship is worth $500. This scholarship is not available this year.
The purpose of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is to help raise the level of educational attainment in Indiana and to leverage further the ability of Indiana’s Community Foundations to enhance the quality of life of the state’s residents. This scholarship pays for four years of tuition at any Indiana public or private college, as well as $900 per year for books. One scholarship is awarded in the county.
This scholarship will allow a student from Austin High School and a student from Scottsburg High School to pursue a degree in higher education. It is worth $2,300 at each school.
This scholarship is available to graduates of Austin High School who will major in education. This scholarship is worth $1,000, and may be renewable for additional awards.
This scholarship is available to adults age 25 and older who are continuing their education in nursing, as well as those seeking to be a surgery tech, radiology tech or respiratory therapist. This scholarship is worth $1,500.
This scholarship is available to Scott County graduating seniors (from Scottsburg High School, Austin High School or home schools) who have an agricultural background and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. This scholarship is worth $500.
This scholarship is for Austin High School seniors, Scottsburg High School seniors, or adults who will major in the medical field. It is worth up to $5,000. There are two scholarships available this year – one each for Austin and Scottsburg high school graduating seniors.
This scholarship is for a student who is a Scott County resident and is pursuing a degree at Indiana University Southeast in the medical field. Applications are available from Indiana University Southeast.
This scholarship is for a student who is a Scott County resident and is pursuing a nursing degree or certificate at Ivy Tech. Applications are available from Ivy Tech Community College-Sellersburg.
This scholarship is for Austin High School seniors, Scottsburg High School seniors, or Scott County home-school graduates who have been involved in 4-H at some point in their life. This scholarship is worth $500.
In memory of Tim Wolf, a member of the Scottsburg High School Class of 1994, this scholarship has been established by his family to provide scholarships to graduates of Scottsburg High School who have chosen to further their education. There is one award worth $6,000, and an additional scholarship worth up to $2,000 for non-traditional adult students who are pursuing a certificate or associate’s degree at a technical college.
This scholarship is for a student at Scottsburg High School who demonstrates financial need. This scholarship is worth $500.
