Scott County Community Foundation board member Sheila Carter, far right, presents a check for $2,776 to Clearinghouse Director Beth Barnett and Scott County Partnership Executive Director Jene Bridgewater. The grant was awarded from the Scott County Hunger Fund at the Community Foundation, and will be used to assist Clearinghouse clients with food, hygiene products, and emergency services. The Clearinghouse served 450 families last month.
