Scottsburg Lions Club member Steve Meyer presents a check for $500 to CRADLE Family Resource Center Executive Director Erin Manton. The grant was awarded from the Scottsburg Lions Club/D.Q. Reid Memorial Fund at the Scott County Community Foundation and will be used to support CRADLE’s mission of feeding, clothing, and supporting families. CRADLE has served more than 250 clients this year, which includes distribution of over 35,000 diapers, an increase of 25 percent from last year’s total. Their most urgent needs include pull-ups in all sizes, sippy cups, adult shampoo and body wash.
