The Scott County Women’s Philanthropy, a program of the Scott County Community Foundation, has announced a new grant opportunity for local nonprofits and schools. This initiative brings together women who pool their membership contributions to make a greater collective impact. Each year, members review proposals and award funding to support a creative and meaningful project that benefits our community.

There is one grant award available for $2,825. A committee will review all applications, and the finalists will be asked to give a presentation at the next women’s event on Feb. 19, where members will vote on the recipient. Applications are due Dec. 30 and are available here. You may also contact Executive Director Jaime Toppe at 812-752-2057 or email info@scottcountyfoundation.org with any questions.

“Whether your idea enhances quality of life, fills a community need, or sparks new partnerships, we’d love to hear from you,” shared Toppe.
