The Scott County Community Foundation (“SCCF”) has welcomed Evan Conder to the Board of Directors. He begins his term Oct. 1. The Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization that assists donors with their charitable giving. By giving to a permanent endowment fund, donors’ dollars can support the community with not only today’s needs, but those for generations to come.

Evan and his wife, Chase, reside in Leota. He is the son of Jeff and Lisa (Clapp) Conder. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in economics and political science and then received a dual law degree and Master of Business Administration from University of Louisville. He is employed with Ogletree Deakins, where he represents and counsels employers.

Evan began his service to the Scott County Community Foundation as a college student intern in 2015 under Lilly Endowment Inc.’s Community Foundation Internships program. As the Career-Life Research Specialist, he updated the Reality Store curriculum for the middle schools. He has served on SCCF’s Finance and Investment Committee this past year.

“I appreciate how the SCCF gives back to the community that has been an important part of my own life,” said Conder. “I am glad to have the chance to help support the community and provide it with opportunities that will make Scott County a great place for current and future generations.”

“Evan’s connection to the Community Foundation goes back more than a decade,” said SCCF Executive Director Jaime Toppe. “We are excited to see his continued commitment to Scott County, and grateful to have him join the Board of Directors. We look forward to the perspective he will bring to our work.”
