Chris Fugate, Treasurer
Chris and his wife, Sherry, have a?daughter, Kailey,?junior at?Ball State University and son, Ethan, a?junior at Austin High School.
He?graduated from Mid America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville in 1996.?He received?his Associate’s degree in 2015 from Indiana Wesleyan University and his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in?August 2017.
He has?spent the last 20+ years in the funeral industry.?He worked the last 10 years for Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg until?he was elected Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Austin.?He also serves as Deputy Coroner for Scott County and cross county coach for Austin High School.
Chris is?a member of Austin Christian Church and?he enjoys running and spending time with?his family.
He?started?his service with the Foundation on our Finance and Investment Committee before becoming a board member. He is our Treasurer, and serves on the Executive Committee, as well as Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee.
