Clark Chapel Cemetery Treasurer Charles Murphy and President Karen Bottomley receive a check for $840 from the Scott County Community Foundation. The grant was awarded from the Clark Chapel Cemetery Fund, which was established at the Foundation in 2010 to provide maintenance and preservation on the historic cemetery located in Underwood. The community was settled in the late 1700s and early 1800s, and the cemetery includes unmarked graves beginning as early as 1800.
