?? The second annual Scott County Youth Grantmaking Council golf scramble has been rescheduled to Sunday, Oct. 14. The event was postponed from July due to the heat.
?? All golfers are invited to participate in the scramble at Westwood Golf Course. Tee time is at 1 p.m., but lunch will be served at noon.
?? The cost is $40 per person or $160 per team, and includes a golf cart, lunch, drinks and prizes for the top three teams.
Mulligans will be available for purchase, and games include closest to the pin, longest putt and longest drive. Hole sponsors are being sought for $25 per hole. Current sponsors include Scott County State Bank and Morgan Foods.
?? All proceeds will benefit the Scott County YGC, a program of the Scott County Community Foundation. Last year?s event brought in almost $1,500. The YGC?s mission is to improve the lives of youth in Scott County by providing them a voice in philanthropy.
