Humane Society of Scott County President Melanie Foster, right, is awarded a grant for $5,406 from Scott County Community Foundation board member Lisa Conder. The grant was given from the Dr. William and Diann Scott Memorial Donor-Advised Fund at the Community Foundation.? It will be used for medical care, spaying and neutering of cats and dogs at the animal shelter and cat adoption facility.
