Scott County Partnership Executive Director Jene Bridgewater receives two grants from Scott County Community Foundation Grants Committee member Heather White and Executive Director Jaime Toppe. A grant for $56,406 was awarded from the Scott County CAPE Endowment Fund and will be used for educational initiatives, including LifeSkills and guidance activities at Austin and Scottsburg middle schools, youth summer feeding program in Austin, vocational/ technical career counselor for Scottsburg High School, Reality Stores, Scott County Attendance Review Board, Career Clusters, Back to School Bash and more.? A grant for $5,000 was awarded to implement youth programs for the Circles poverty campaign. Both grants were awarded during our?2015 Community Grants Program.
