Philip Glenn Martin Fund grant to Chamber for BizCamp 4-20-16

Greater Scott County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kelly Dulaney, left, receives a grant for $390 from Scott County Community Foundation board member Sheila Carter. The grant was awarded from the Philip Glenn Martin Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation. It will be used to sponsor two children to attend BizCamp, a one-week experience for Scott County students ages 9-12. The youth learn the basic concepts of business and economics and how education is relevant to the workplace, and are able to attend for free in part through local sponsors. Phil Martin was the first executive director of the Chamber of Commerce, and helped lead efforts to establish the Community Foundation.
