Scott County Community Foundation board member Jamie Longacre, second from left, presents a check for $802 to Scottsburg High School band director Curtis Turner and Scottsburg Band Parents Association members. The grant was awarded from the Kenninger Music Education Fund at the Community Foundation. Connie Kenninger was a founding board member for the Community Foundation and her love of music resulted in her creating the permanent fund to assist music students and programs.
