United Way of Scott County was awarded a grant for $5,000 from Scott County Community Foundation during their 2016 Community Grants Program. Shown are United Way Executive Director Nancy Riley and Community Foundation Executive Director Jaime Toppe. The grant will be used to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program, which provides free books for children every month from birth until age five. There are currently 715 registered children, and 323 children who “graduated” from the program when they turned five.
