The Scott County Youth Grantmaking Council (?YGC?) presents its first-ever cornhole tournament fundraiser, Battle of the Boards. The YGC is a youth-led organization where students learn about giving and serving our community. Members perform monthly community service projects, and award grants to the community for youth-related projects.

The event will take place Saturday, April 2 at Scottsburg First Christian Church shelterhouse, 750 S. Gardner St. The rain date is May 14. Times will be determined based on registration, but is expected to start early morning. The cost is $20 per team for early bird registration by March 4 and $30/team after March 4. The deadline to register is March 27. Registration can be found here: https://forms.gle/G2789Hs5A14fGEUk9

The youth plan to have music and activities for kids in this family-friendly event. Food will also be available for purchase. Teams are encouraged to dress in matching outfits or costumes for a contest. Winners of the tournament will receive cash prizes of $250 for first place, $150 for second place, and $100 for third place. All proceeds will benefit youth of Scott County.

The YGC is also seeking sponsorships. For a list of levels and benefits, please call 812-752-2057 or email info@scottcountyfoundation.org.
