Several members of the Scott County Youth Grantmaking Council recently visited New Life International to help prepare materials for water purification kits, which are sent to Third World countries to provide safe water. New Life International is a Christian outreach organization based in Underwood. Shown are Jordan Thomas, Brandon Boswell, Tyler White, Caleb White, Isaak Mount, Jordan Shuler, Eliza Mount, Alexa Howser and Kaleb Mount. YGC members complete service projects each month. The YGC is a program of the Scott County Community Foundation. Students from 5th-12th grade are invited to submit an application for membership year-round.
