Members of the Scott County Youth Grantmaking Council recently helped at the Scott County Community Clearinghouse in celebration of National Philanthropy Day, a day set aside to honor those who give their time, talent and treasure to the community. The YGC is a program of the Scott County Community Foundation. Applications are accepted year-round for youth in grades 5-12 who would like to serve on the Community Service Committee, which completes service projects every month.
