Scott County Community Foundation board member Jennifer Coward, far left, presents a check for $600 to Scottsburg FFA class members and teacher Anna Abbott. The grant was awarded from the Cornhuskers/FFA Agricultural Fund at the Scott County Community Foundation and will be used for scholarships. This is the first-ever grant awarded from the fund, which was created in 2022 to support FFA’s activities and mission. Donations to this fund are currently being matched 50 cents for every dollar donated, and can be made online at www.scottcountyfoundation.org.
